NOTE: These earliest messages were not recorded, but transcribed from notes as Ruben shared.
Ruben was summoned.* This time the Angel, Gabriel, came and said he was sent by God to visit with him.
Gabriel said, “Let’s sit down and visit,” and held out his hand. Ruben asked, “You’re not going to shock me are you?” (His hand was huge!) Gabriel told him, “What you are seeing and hearing is for a reason and there is more to come. Share with your friends and your church. Some will receive and some will not. Do not be concerned. I wish to give you an embrace.” He covered Ruben with his wings and told him he was receiving more agape love, wisdom, compassion, discernment, and more of how to read people; to pick up their thoughts.
Gabriel told him the experience he had with the lady in the wheel chair** was for a purpose, to show people’s choices, their comfort zones. Gabriel said, “Do not let your mind be troubled. All this will add to your mind and heart. We have connected you with two other people and they will share this with others.” That summons ended.
An hour later he was summoned again and waited at the bench he was taken to. He saw a person coming toward him, a woman. She had beautiful, long black hair. She said, “I am Esther.”
She sat down and talked with him. She told him her story, what she had to go through to get favor with God. She said, “I am like you, I would rather be last than first.” They stared at each others’ eyes. She knew his thoughts. Ruben said she has beautiful brown eyes. They just looked at each other, and then she shed a tear, one tear out of her right eye. She told him, “You are having tremendous blessing. I know what you are going through. Accept it. You are a blessed man.” She asked to embrace him. So he let her, but did not try to embrace her back. (She and Elijah both indicated to Ruben that they knew he was not a biblically learned man).
*When Ruben is summoned he must be at rest, relaxed. This happens mostly at night or if he feels led to take a nap. The angel always comes, taps his shoulder and says, “You’re summoned.” He then follows the angel up a stairway that looks like clouds. The angel takes him to his own gold bench. There he must wait until the one chosen to speak with him comes forth. He never knows who it will be.
**The lady in the wheel chair: Ruben met her at a restaurant and was led to ask if he could pray for her. She was with her husband and two other people. She was a well dressed, prosperous looking lady. So he asked her if he could pray for her, and did she believe the Lord could heal her. She hesitated, was friendly, but hesitant. So Ruben prayed a short prayer and left. The Holy Spirit showed him that the lady was comfortable with her situation, and didn’t want to lose the disability income she received. So her hesitation cost her a miracle.
