Ruben: The Spirit told me to be still and wait. Be still and wait. A lot of times for us as humans we don't know what that is. But if you practice it enough you just surrender because you're already trained to submit your heart and mind and soul to be still. That is one of the most beautiful things, to submit yourself to the will of God. So I just submitted and waited. I think a lot of times we go through these things to see how determined we are to be with God, listen to God, follow God. When He says, 'follow Me,' do we second guess ourselves, look behind us, to the left or right, or just step out and say, ‘yes Lord.’ Because that's the way it's supposed to be. We learn from this how to grow closer to God.
So I was submitted. Then I was summoned. The angel came and said, "You’re summoned." I've gotten used to his voice and I'm ready. It's like a command as in the military when a soldier hears the voice of the Sergeant and stands up ready to go. We start walking the steps and arrive. I take my seat and watch the people greeting and loving each other. To my surprise I heard trumpets blowing and wondered what's going on. It was a Worship gathering. The music, the instruments; the people who played instruments in the world were playing. Violins, guitars, saxophones, drums, every sort of instrument and people blowing shofars, all that combines like music you've never heard. It draws you, speaks to your heart and soul—you want more—it flows. Then to top it off, at the end angels blew trumpets and that you could hear from a distance. When the angels blow trumpets it's like the bottoms of your feet vibrate. The waves of sound—it's all about waves and sound moving and it makes you shiver all over. The other music was glorious, but when the angels blew the trumpets that was something else! So anointed! This is something we can expect to see and hear and rejoice in this precious, beautiful kingdom of Heaven. Where there is only agape love, no judging or pointing fingers, no racism, no divisions, just unity, harmony, peace.
Then I was guided back to the bench by the angel who said, "Wait here someone wants to see you." Then in the distance someone was coming. As he spoke I acknowledged his voice because he said, "How are you doing my brother, it’s good to see you again. What a joy it is for me and for you also, because I said I would see you again. I need to share with you time after time. I don't know if you remember my name, I'm the Apostle Paul.
“I still want to encourage you about what you will have to go through like everyone that's had a task. But we went because we were led to go and it was the will of the Father for us to go forth. I want to tell you that you will find those that you will be blessed with and be accountable for. It will work wonderfully to your advantage. I know. I met so many, worked with so many, prayed with so many. But I had someone close to my heart that I always worked with and it was so wonderful to see him blessed. I think you will know him, it's Timothy. I want you to read 2 Timothy 1: 1-5, and let that speak into your way of life.
“Sometimes we have to see with our own eyes. If we clear our mind of everything else these Scriptures will teach us and guide us and show us more than we could ever understand. But it brings life, life. Share that with your friends. Speak into them because it's just going to get better and better as we give you Scriptures and they let it go into their hearts and souls. It is a blessing, a blessing to work with someone. It is an honor for me to be here with you. Let us go forth. Walk with your head up. Tell your friends to walk with their head up. It is an honor to teach and share my experience. So my brother, what a great honor. Go in peace and I will see you again my brother."
Ruben: These verses are powerful. Coming from a man of God that God has chosen, anointed, and blessed him to speak blessings, strength, hope, life. We must continue to work together no matter what the cost is. If we stay together, no matter what it looks like—if we're in a storm—let's not be like the disciples, worried, scared and frightened we won't make it. Remember the words—‘be still, I Am with you.’ So whatever trials and tribulations we face remember, be still. It's part of life because without these trials and tribulations we would never call on God. We would never humble ourselves and say, 'Master, Teacher, Redeemer, Healer.' We wouldn't look up and say, 'I need You more than ever.' Let us go forth in unity because it's a beautiful journey! A wonderful journey for anybody that wants to tag along and see the Shekinah Glory. I believe more and more the Shekinah Glory is going to be revealed to us because of this year. You will see things you never thought you would see and hear things you never thought you would hear! We are given the opportunity to move in the five-fold ministry. Let us surrender to be used as God wants to use us. It's for His glory, not ours, His! It's for us to praise Him, to worship Him, to bow down to Him—Oh, He hungers for that! I'm just being obedient. I'm just a messenger. If people have an open mind and heart to receive from God is what it's all about.
